Students earning an Associate in Arts in Theatre Arts: General will develop the ability to recognize theatre as a collaborative creative process, examine plays from written scripts to live performances, utilize theatrical skills and knowledge to prepare for transfer opportunities, and become familiar with theatre terminology and career paths. The program requires completion of all specified courses totaling 25-29 units. Program Learning Outcomes: Graduates will demonstrate the capacity to employ theatrical expertise for transfer readiness or professional pursuits, critically assess theatrical productions from text to stage, understand key theatre vocabulary and professions, and acknowledge theatre's inherently collaborative nature.
