The Public Policy program aims to equip students with the skills to become engaged citizens, analytical thinkers, and solutions-oriented professionals in government service. Through this program, students explore democratic institutions and the interconnected nature of policy-making bodies. They develop valuable competencies in policy analysis, persuasive writing, and evaluative thinking - skills highly sought after by government entities, nonprofit organizations, and advanced academic programs. Most importantly, students discover how to create meaningful impact through active participation in civic affairs. The legacy of the school's namesake, Ambassador Andrew Young, demonstrates how professionals can transition between nonprofit work, public service, and private enterprise within our interconnected global community.
