The Sculpture program promotes the harmonious blending of ideas and materials. Learners investigate varied artistic pursuits while developing expertise in woodcraft, metalwork, casting, and digital tools. The curriculum provides comprehensive instruction in both classical techniques and modern approaches, supporting creative exploration in performance art, installations, and other three-dimensional forms. The B.F.A. in Studio with a sculpture focus prepares graduates for advanced study and diverse artistic careers. Participants gain from the activities of the Edgewood Sculpture Forum, the official student organization. This group hosts guest artists for talks and demonstrations, runs the yearly Holiday Iron Pour event, arranges student showcases throughout Atlanta, and secures resources for conference attendance.
