Students pursuing the J.D./M.A.S.S.P. dual degree must successfully fulfill the coursework for both programs. Upon completing the program, graduates will receive both the J.D. and M.A.S.S.P. degrees along with a Joint Program Certificate. The four-year curriculum requires at least 109 credit hours, combining 79 law credits and 30 M.A.S.S.P. credits, with 6 credits from each program counting toward the other. The M.A.S.S.P. Director of Graduate Studies will evaluate on a case-by-case basis whether any J.D. courses can satisfy M.A. requirements. Additionally, participants must: (1) meet all graduation criteria for both degrees, and (2) maintain a minimum 3.00/4.00 GPA in the M.A.S.S.P. program while meeting the J.D. program's GPA standards (as outlined in the Georgetown Law Student Handbook of Academic Policies).
