The Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Promotion program equips students with evidence-based social and behavioral theories, along with effective behavior change models and strategies, to enhance health practices across diverse populations. Graduates develop expertise in designing, executing, assessing, and communicating health promotion initiatives and research aimed at preventing disease and improving community wellbeing.
This curriculum prepares future public health leaders to competently analyze, administer, and measure the impact of health education programs for general and vulnerable populations. Through core coursework and electives, students master social-behavioral methodologies to enhance public health through interventions targeting individuals, groups, institutions, and broader societal systems.
The program examines optimal approaches for championing policies, legislation, and social norms that foster healthier communities. Learners apply their skills through both academic coursework and practical fieldwork. With classes offered during late afternoon and evening hours, students can gain professional experience while completing their graduate studies.
