The Global Affairs and Interdisciplinary Studies Programs provide a combined master's degree option, allowing students to obtain both a Global Affairs MA and an Interdisciplinary Studies MAIS with a focus on women and gender studies by completing 54 credits instead of the standard 66. This accelerated program follows university regulation AP.6.9.6. Additionally, the Department of Foreign Languages collaborates with the Global Affairs Program to offer another dual degree opportunity. Students can earn both a Foreign Languages MA (specializing in French, Spanish, or Spanish-bilingual/multicultural education) and a Global Affairs MA by completing at least 48 credits rather than the usual 60. This program also adheres to university policy AP.6.9.6.
