To foster middle and high school students' understanding and enthusiasm for the physical sciences, educators require more than just physics expertise. This program enhances teacher candidates' grasp of adolescent learning processes, educational principles, and effective science teaching methods.
During the initial year's fall and spring terms, participants spend three days weekly in classrooms: observing for three weeks, followed by ten weeks of student teaching in the same setting.
In the second year's fall and spring semesters, students dedicate five full days each week to classrooms: two weeks of observation, then twelve weeks of hands-on teaching practice in the same educational environment.
