This curriculum enhances teaching candidates' grasp of adolescent learning processes, educational principles, and effective science instruction methods.
Graduates will be qualified to teach Chemistry in grades 7-12 classrooms, with an additional option to obtain certification for grades 5-6.
Program applicants should hold a chemistry degree or equivalent, with at least 30 chemistry credits covering core areas: general chemistry concepts spanning inorganic, organic, analytical, physical, and biochemical studies.
Prospective students missing specific coursework may receive conditional admission, provided they complete the required content before graduating.
