The Advanced Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is tailored for educators with experience who already hold an initial, provisional, permanent, or professional teaching license and wish to enhance their expertise in supporting emergent bilingual students.
Applicants without initial teaching certification may also qualify if they are currently enrolled in Fordham University's initial teacher education program.
This 15-credit course results in a certification and qualifies participants for an extension to teach English as a second language at early childhood, childhood, or adolescent levels
