FSU Panama City's Master of Social Work program, recognized among the country's elite and accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), equips students with professional skills through a comprehensive curriculum covering social work practice, policy, human behavior studies, research methodologies, and hands-on field training. As Florida's longest-standing and highest-ranked Social Work program, FSU boasts an extensive network of accomplished alumni practitioners and scholars statewide and nationally, providing students with valuable professional connections.
At FSU Panama City, students can pursue either the Advanced Standing or Traditional MSW program in Clinical Social Work, with a manageable three-quarter time schedule of up to 9 credit hours per term. The Advanced Standing track takes 4 semesters to complete, while the Traditional program requires 6 semesters.
