FSU's Music Therapy program ranks among the nation's top programs, producing exceptional graduates for more than six decades.
All our graduates pursuing careers - whether in clinical practice or academia - have achieved a perfect employment record. FSU-trained music therapists hold distinguished roles across healthcare, mental health services, special education, end-of-life care, and senior services nationwide.
This competency-driven program progressively builds skills through carefully structured coursework. It fully prepares students for the MT-BC certification exam and professional careers applying music for therapeutic healing. The Tallahassee area offers numerous clinical observation and learning experiences with FSU alumni across all music therapy specialties.
