The Master of Music (MM) is a 31-credit, two-year program featuring private instruction, coaching sessions, music history courses, advanced theory studies, opera workshops, and vocal pedagogy. Students must complete two graduate recitals and demonstrate foreign language competency. Our faculty comprises working performers who deliver exceptional vocal instruction, diverse performance platforms, and elite choral ensemble participation, equipping graduates for success in performance or education fields. The Voice Department trains students for professional singing careers across concert venues and academic settings. The program offers immersive learning through opera, oratorio, art song, and concert repertoire, developing both vocal skills and stage presence. Students benefit from expert coaching by our accomplished artist-faculty who maintain active performance careers alongside teaching. Our holistic approach cultivates adaptable, imaginative, and technically accomplished performers for all performance contexts.
