Qualification Requirements

A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or a comparable degree from an international institution, with a minimum 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) grade point average (GPA) in all coursework attempted while enrolled as an upper-division undergraduate student working towards a bachelor's degree

Note: You will still need to send official copies of your transcripts to the Office of Admissions, but an unofficial copy will be sufficient for the department to review your application. GRE scores are not required for the application to Art History's graduate programs.
Three letters of recommendation, preferably by Art History faculty with whom you have studied. You will identify three recommenders in your application, they will then be notified by email that their letters are requested.
Internet based TOEFL (IBTOEFL): 80, Paper based TOEFL (TOEFL): 550, International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.5.
