Our Rehabilitation Counseling Program equips professionals to provide effective support services for individuals with disabilities. The program focuses on enabling people with disabilities to enhance their employment prospects, achieve financial independence, gain autonomy, and participate fully in society.
Rehabilitation Counselors assess and organize necessary services to help individuals overcome challenges stemming from cognitive impairments, learning disabilities, social barriers, psychological issues, or physical limitations (Council on Rehabilitation Education, 2015).
The curriculum teaches essential counseling methods while preparing students to assist clients with disabilities and chronic conditions across various settings, including community programs, vocational rehabilitation agencies, and private treatment facilities. Graduates qualify for national certification as Rehabilitation Counselors.
