The Master of Music (M.M.) specializing in Music Technology demands 36 credit hours beyond the bachelor's degree for program completion. Participants must complete a mandatory summer internship at either a national or international music technology firm. The program culminates with a thesis project, representing a significant technological endeavor. This final project could involve developing innovative music software, designing musical hardware, creating an audio installation, or producing interactive digital media. While most students start with Electronic Music III and progress through the technology course sequence, highly qualified individuals may begin directly with Computer Music Seminar I.
