Students work closely with the School of Music's renowned artist-faculty, mastering diverse repertoire spanning solo, chamber, and orchestral works. The program boasts an active chamber music initiative led by FIU's Ensemble-in-Residence, the acclaimed Amernet String Quartet, offering students numerous performance venues both on campus and beyond. Regular masterclasses with visiting artists further enrich the curriculum. Qualification Requirements

A minimum 3.00 grade point average (GPA) in a completed undergraduate degree program
Complete your GetAcceptd submission application to the School of Music. If you pass this pre-screening process you will be invited to a live audition.
Organized auditions are held three times per year, but can be scheduled at other times throughout the year upon request. Applicants who wish to be considered for University merit-based scholarships should attend the November audition date. Theory and history placement tests will be given during organized audition days.
Official TOEFL (minimum score 550 paper-based, or 213 computer-based, or 80 internet-based) or IELTS (minimum 6.5).
