Prospective students must hold a bachelor's degree in music from an accredited institution or equivalent foreign university. The Graduate Studies Committee will evaluate whether an applicant's qualifications match a bachelor's degree standard. Some candidates might need to complete a specialized assessment to demonstrate their proficiency level or readiness for Hartt's degree programs.
