The Graduate Certificate in Asian Studies offers an engaging educational journey into one of the world's most captivating and significant regions, requiring completion alongside another FIU graduate program. This 15-credit program (5 courses) delivers a comprehensive survey of Asian philosophy, religion, art history, languages, literature, along with historical, political, geographical, sociological/anthropological, and international relations topics. Qualification Requirements
For all applicants we require official transcripts from all previously attended institutions. Transcripts to be considered official must come in a sealed envelope directly from the issuing institution.
A minimum 3.00 grade point average (GPA) in a completed undergraduate degree program
International graduate student applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit a score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A total score of 80 on the IBT TOEFL or 6.5 overall on the IELTS is required.
