The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies prepares individuals for leadership positions within educational settings. This program mandates at least 75 semester hours of graduate-level coursework following a bachelor's degree. Its curriculum equips students to apply both theoretical frameworks and practical skills effectively. With an interdisciplinary approach, the program incorporates diverse academic viewpoints into the examination and application of educational leadership and policy.
Students must complete no fewer than 15 semester hours dedicated to dissertation research. Following candidacy approval, doctoral candidates must maintain continuous enrollment in at least three (3) dissertation credit hours per term until degree completion.
