Our Doctor of Education (EdD) in Adult Education and Human Resource Development (AE/HRD) program caters to professionals seeking advanced graduate studies, equipping them to become scholar-practitioners capable of designing, implementing, and overseeing educational initiatives for diverse adult populations. The doctoral program offers two specialization tracks. Students may choose either a flexible cognate tailored to their dissertation research interests or a focused cognate in one of six designated fields: (1) International and Intercultural Education, (2) Labor Studies, (3) Urban Education, (4) Entrepreneurship, (5) Hospitality and Tourism Management, or (6) Recreation and Sport Management. The structured cognate option is ideal for those wishing to concentrate their dissertation work within these specific disciplines.
