An aviation management with flight degree integrates the academic curriculum of an aviation management program with Florida Tech's internationally acclaimed flight instruction. This degree delivers extensive knowledge in aviation studies, management, and business, equipping students for roles like professional pilot or airport consultant, as well as positions in airline management, aircraft manufacturing, and other sectors. Participants in this program gain a solid foundation in aviation and acquire hands-on experience with contemporary aeronautical technology and flight procedures. Alongside the flight training pathway, the aviation management degree offers an alternative specialization in Air Traffic Control (ATC). The ATC track fulfills the criteria of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Air Traffic-Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) program and holds FAA approval. Graduates frequently qualify to skip the Air Traffic Basics Course at the FAA Academy. The program includes 21 credit hours of specialized coursework in subjects like aerodynamics, meteorology, and safety.
