Get ready for a degree in Aeronautical, Civil, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Materials Science Engineering by enrolling in Shoreline's Aeronautical, Civil, Industrial, Manufacturing & Materials Science Engineering Pre-Major. As a component of Shoreline's Physical Sciences Transfer initiative, this Major-Related Program offers tailored courses that meet the criteria for the Associate of Science Transfer, Track 2 (AS-T2) and culminates in a specialized degree.
This program is structured to uphold Shoreline's general education goals:
Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning: Learners will exhibit college-level proficiency in utilizing mathematical and logical principles.
Communication Skills: Learners will engage with college-level English through reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Effective communication involves recognizing its social aspects and the impact of ethnicity, age, culture, gender, sexual orientation, and ability on exchanging oral, non-verbal, and written information.
Multicultural Understanding: Learners will show comprehension of matters concerning race, social class, gender, sexual orientation, disabilities, and culture, and how these factors influence the allocation of power and privilege in the United States.
A candidate for admission to Shoreline Community College must be a graduate of an accredited high school, have a General Education Development (GED) certificate, or be at least 18 years of age.
