Biological Systems Engineering (BSE) is an engineering discipline that combines principles from agricultural, biological, chemical, and engineering fields. The Bachelor of Science program in Biological Systems Engineering offers two specializations: (1) Bioprocessing and Food Engineering and (2) Natural Resources Conservation Engineering. The curriculum emphasizes core engineering principles while incorporating specialized coursework in agricultural, biological, and chemical engineering. Graduates are equipped for advanced studies or careers in engineering, where they tackle challenging problems and develop innovative products and processes. PROGRAM ACCREDITATION: ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission accredits the Biological Systems Engineering bachelor's degree program.
