The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers a combined BS-MS program that builds upon existing undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This pathway enables high-achieving students to pursue both bachelor's and master's degrees simultaneously. With approval, students can apply up to 12 graduate credits toward their undergraduate requirements. Participants receive their bachelor's degree after finishing the undergraduate curriculum and their master's upon completing the graduate program.
The department's mission is to establish itself as a premier Electrical and Computer Engineering education and research center serving the state and nation. We plan to leverage our core strengths in signals, controls, power systems, electronics, and robotics to develop innovative solutions for critical challenges in healthcare, environmental sustainability, and industrial advancement.
