The Humanities program provides a comprehensive liberal arts foundation with an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating Literature, History, Philosophy, visual and performing arts, and modern language cultural studies. Each field maintains its distinct methodologies and analytical techniques, explored both individually and collectively through an introductory methods course and a culminating senior seminar focused on thematic and historical interdisciplinary examination. This degree serves as excellent preparation for legal careers (particularly when paired with FDU's prelaw minor) or any profession valuing adaptable critical thinking, refined research abilities, articulate yet nuanced writing, and the capacity to consider diverse viewpoints. It's equally valuable for those pursuing elementary education.
