The Mathematics graduate program provides a dynamic scholarly environment that blends innovative research with a welcoming and collaborative culture. Our department features engaged research teams across multiple disciplines, working in partnership with professors from other Emory programs as well as international academic institutions. The master's degree caters to students aiming for professional careers or doctoral studies in mathematics. MS candidates can select between pure or computational mathematics pathways, with the choice of completing a thesis or taking courses exclusively.
All post-secondary education will include a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as post-baccalaureate degrees and other coursework not undertaken for a degree.
If you are an international applicant, you may need to submit TOEFL scores.
