The M.S. in Mathematics Program emphasizes creating advanced mathematical models and deploying them on powerful computing systems. Its curriculum blends applied, computational, and theoretical components, with special focus on operations research, computational science, and probabilistic/deterministic modeling. Faculty and graduate students engage in research spanning computational biology, financial modeling, molecular dynamics, operations research, optimization, and Ramsey theory. This program effectively equips graduates for careers in business, industry, or government, while also providing strong preparation for pursuing a CSS Ph.D. or other doctoral studies.
Student must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 to receive unconditional admission.
A minimum TOEFL score of 575 paper-based, 197 computer-based, or 90 - 91 Internet based, or IELTS score of 6.0.
