This program aims to prepare a select group of outstanding students for careers in religious institutions, secondary education teaching roles, or further academic work in bioethics and moral theology. Ideal candidates will hold undergraduate degrees in theology, religious studies, or similar disciplines. The dual degree option also caters to professionals seeking careers in bioethics, patient advocacy, or spiritual care within faith-based healthcare settings, providing them with comprehensive knowledge about the relationship between religion and health/healthcare.
All post-secondary education will include a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as post-baccalaureate degrees and other coursework not undertaken for a degree.
Applicants whose native language is not English must submit official scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) as part of the application process. The minimum score is 600 (Paper-Based Total), or 250 (Computer-Based Test), or 95 (Internet-Based Total) with a minimum score of 21 or higher in each of the four sub-areas.
