This program prepares students for careers with faith-based institutions, healthcare settings, public health policy roles, or further academic work in bioethics and moral theology.
Healthcare settings frequently see the merging of spiritual values and medical choices. Beyond medical expertise, religious beliefs shape the ethical judgments of both healthcare providers and policymakers. Both patients and medical staff often seek guidance from clergy, hospital chaplains, spiritual counselors, and other religious advisors when facing ethical dilemmas. The wisdom and direction offered by these spiritual mentors significantly impacts the choices made by patients, their loved ones, and medical practitioners.
All post-secondary education will include a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as post-baccalaureate degrees and other coursework not undertaken for a degree.
