Emory's Chemistry PhD program provides a research-focused education led by distinguished faculty and supported by top-tier facilities across four primary specialization areas. Professors conduct pioneering research, frequently partnering with colleagues from interconnected university departments. Beyond core chemistry fields, we maintain robust interdisciplinary initiatives spanning biomaterials, organometallics, pharmaceutical chemistry, bioinorganic studies, and computational chemistry applications across these domains. The Chemistry department at Emory represents a dynamic research hub where scholars employ advanced methodologies and cutting-edge instrumentation to push disciplinary boundaries.
All post-secondary education will include a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as post-baccalaureate degrees and other coursework not undertaken for a degree.
If you are an international applicant, you may need to submit TOEFL scores.
The application deadline for entry in Fall 2020 is December 1st.
