The Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) Master's program requires 36 credit hours. This flexible graduate program is designed for students whose academic objectives aren't fulfilled by EMU's other graduate offerings. IDS participants can customize their graduate education to align with personal academic or career aspirations. The program demands purposeful, concentrated study, requiring students to choose courses from three different disciplines to create a tailored Program of Study (POS). This POS must form a coherent curriculum that achieves defined learning objectives and outcomes.
