Transform lives through music by working with individuals, groups, families, and communities. The Bachelor of Music Therapy program blends scientific knowledge, artistic expression, and compassionate care, helping students cultivate musical abilities, clinical expertise, and interpersonal skills to achieve therapeutic objectives beyond music. Upon completing this program, graduates will have shown proficiency in musical therapy, clinical practice, professional ethics, and research (as outlined by the American Music Therapy Association), along with completing at least 1200 hours of clinical training (including a 900-hour full-time internship). This qualification allows graduates to pursue the Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) credential, opening doors to careers in hospitals, schools, senior care facilities, hospices, mental health centers, wellness programs, and diverse community settings.
