Beyond our School of Education's CAEP accreditation, our Leading Teacher Program holds the prestigious distinction of NAEYC accreditation. The 131-credit Bachelor of Science in Education for Early Childhood (PreK-4) comprises three key components: University Core/General Education, Foundations of Education, and Professional Preparation. In your initial two years, you'll complete most General Education and Foundation coursework while gaining hands-on field experience beginning freshman year. Faculty guide students in applying professional standards across early childhood curriculum areas through coursework and practical field experiences.
