You'll train under accomplished artist-educators with extensive industry connections spanning major music hubs worldwide, from New York and Los Angeles to Beijing, Sydney, and throughout Europe. Collaborate with diverse professionals including solo performers, recording artists, music contractors, business owners, military ensemble members, and composers. Beyond academic performances, students gain professional experience with renowned ensembles like the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Opera and Ballet Orchestras, and Jazz Orchestra. The Institute of Entertainment, Music, and Media Arts (IEMMA) offers on-campus opportunities to work on real projects and network with top industry experts. In general, undergraduate applicants are expected to obtain the U.S. equivalent of a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) for most majors.
A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
IELTS - 7.0 with 23 in writing, reading, speaking and 21 in Listening.
TOEFL - 90 with 6.0 band in writing, speaking, 6.5 band in Listening and 7.0 band in Reading.
