The Master of Science in Urban Strategy (URBS) equips students to tackle urban planning and policy issues through a comprehensive 48-credit, two-year interdisciplinary graduate program. This degree integrates Drexel's strengths across design, engineering, business, policy, and public health disciplines. Participants collaborate with community and industry partners to address authentic urban challenges in local neighborhoods. Through hands-on, community-engaged learning, students establish valuable professional relationships that endure throughout their careers. URBS provides intensive instruction in analytical techniques and critical thought, while situating learning within historical, political, and economic frameworks. This MS program enables graduates to advance their professional paths in enhancing urban quality of life. Students may enroll either full-time or part-time.
