Our joint research utilizes modern breakthroughs in stem cell therapy, genetic treatments, pain and movement regulation, rehabilitation medicine, pharmaceutical science, and neural modulation to study fundamental spinal cord and brain operations, injury mechanisms, and create therapeutic approaches for central nervous system trauma. For over three decades, our academic community has maintained a dynamic, multifaceted research initiative dedicated to examining spinal cord injury (SCI) consequences and exploring restoration techniques and functional rehabilitation.
Our interdisciplinary team implements state-of-the-art developments in stem cell implantation, movement and breathing physiology, genetic interventions, rehabilitation methods, and drug therapies to pioneer innovative solutions for treating both recent and long-standing spinal cord injuries.
