Drexel University College of Medicine's Neuroscience Graduate Program (NEUS) takes an interdisciplinary approach to neuroscience. The curriculum integrates knowledge from multiple departments and research fields, providing comprehensive training in cellular, molecular, behavioral, developmental, and systems neuroscience with a particular focus on disorders, injuries, and treatments. Through intensive research training that employs diverse methodologies and advanced technologies, students gain hands-on experience. Their learning extends beyond the laboratory - they enjoy frequent faculty mentorship, attend scientific conferences, and develop essential professional skills (scientific writing, instruction, hypothesis development, research planning) to prepare for diverse career paths in the field.
Program participants can pursue either MS or PhD degrees, opening doors to opportunities in university research, education, drug development, corporate sectors, public service, institutional leadership, policy-making, and other professional avenues.
