Mathematics doctoral candidates enjoy numerous ways to connect with our academic community beyond coursework. Our department hosts biweekly colloquium events along with specialized research seminars featuring both internal and visiting scholars. Weekly seminar offerings include Analysis discussions, Combinatorics and Algebraic Geometry sessions, and PDE/Applied Mathematics forums. Additionally, the student-led SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) chapter organizes its own seminar program.
