The Mathematics Ph.D. program aims to equip students for professional paths in academia, industry, or education. Upon completion, graduates will demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving with precise mathematical terminology, effectively conveying mathematical ideas, and performing autonomous research.
Doctoral candidates typically complete their degree within six years. Those accepted into the Ph.D. program may earn a master's degree as part of their doctoral journey.
Student must have a four-year bachelor's degree at an English-speaking institution.
English Language Testing
For those choosing to take the TOEFL, a minimum score on the paper-based TOEFL of 550, or 220 on the computer-based test, or 83 on the internet-based test is required for admission.
For those choosing to take the IELTS, a minimum overall score of 7 from the IELTS test is required for admission.
