To obtain an Information Technology Certificate, students must fulfill the 86-credit Juris Doctor program and meet all JD prerequisites. Within these required JD courses, candidates must complete at least 15 credits from designated classes while maintaining a minimum 3.20 GPA in certificate coursework. Should students exceed the 15-credit minimum, all additional grades from approved courses will contribute to the certificate GPA calculation. Applicants may pursue just one certificate. Previously completed classes, cross-college offerings, and newly introduced seminars may count toward the certificate with approval. Additionally, students can request alternative elective substitutions with proper authorization.
