As an attorney, you'll encounter distinct daily challenges, ranging from navigating intricate contracts to effectively presenting arguments in court. To obtain a Health Care Compliance Certificate, students must fulfill the 86-credit Juris Doctor requirement along with all JD prerequisites. Within their JD coursework, candidates need to complete 15 credits from designated health law classes, comprising two mandatory courses and a minimum of three electives. Students must maintain at least a 3.00 GPA in these certificate courses. Should a student complete more than the required 15 credits from approved courses, all grades from those additional classes will contribute to the 3.00 GPA minimum. With proper approval, previously taken courses, offerings from other DePaul departments, and newly introduced seminars may count toward the certificate requirements.
