Suffolk Law's accelerated JD program caters to ambitious, highly dedicated students eager to tackle year-round coursework to complete their law degree a full year faster than conventional programs. Given the rigorous nature of this track, admissions are extremely competitive with limited spots available.
Participants in Suffolk Law's accelerated program can obtain their JD in just 24 months (full-time) or 36 months (part-time evening). While following the same core curriculum and credit requirements as standard JD candidates, they benefit from an expedited timeline. These students attend summer sessions before and after their first year to accelerate graduation.
Suffolk University Law School pioneered Massachusetts' first Health and Biomedical Law concentration, providing day and evening students a chance to excel in this dynamic, rapidly evolving specialty.
This specialized concentration leverages Boston's thriving healthcare ecosystem. As a hub for medical innovation, health policy, and legal practice, Boston boasts premier teaching hospitals, biotech firms, and cutting-edge research institutions. The Health and Biomedical Law program capitalizes on these local resources, offering both Concentration and Area of Focus options.
