Pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences equips you with essential knowledge and abilities for diverse careers in science, research, education, healthcare, and beyond.

Most faculty lead their own research initiatives, offering students multiple opportunities to engage in research projects. We provide accelerated dual-degree programs, including a combined bachelor's/master's in Biological Sciences and another pairing Biological Sciences with Secondary Education. These intensive programs enable you to earn both degrees in just five years.
The B.A. in Biological Sciences establishes a solid biology foundation while maintaining flexibility in math and science requirements. You'll study humanities and social science electives that open doors to interdisciplinary careers and health-related professional programs.
