Dartmouth College's MALS Program provides a rigorous, immersive master's program in liberal studies. This MALS degree is among numerous graduate programs offered through the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies. The Guarini School serves over 1,000 graduate students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers across 35 Dartmouth programs, excluding those at Tuck or Geisel Schools. Participants engage in thorough, cross-disciplinary graduate education at a leading global liberal arts institution. The MALS program confers a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies, with four specialization options: Cultural Studies, Creative Writing, Globalization Studies, or General Liberal Studies.
Participants benefit from instruction by Dartmouth's distinguished faculty and access to all graduate and undergraduate departments. The program accommodates both full-time and part-time enrollment.
A bachelor's degree is required.
Candidates whose native language is not English must submit test results for TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
