The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Agriculture and Life Sciences, offered through the Natural Resources discipline, caters to both returning and current students aiming for professional careers in environmental science and management. This program is ideal for individuals already working in environmental professions who wish to advance their expertise, as well as recent graduates looking to strengthen their skills in specialized areas. Unlike research-focused degrees, the MPS emphasizes practical career preparation for roles in environmental management with government bodies, NGOs, and academic institutions. Participants gain advanced competencies, broaden their professional connections, and enhance their employability in the Natural Resources sector. While academically rigorous like a Master of Science (MS), the MPS differs in approach—it's a one-year, coursework-intensive program without a thesis requirement. Students explore complex topics in their field and conclude their studies with a capstone project rather than a research-based thesis.
