Degrees offered
Bachelor's Degree
The department provides two Master of Science degree options: agricultural education and agricultural communications. Students can finish these programs by taking 36 credit hours of approved graduate coursework or 30 hours of classes plus 6 thesis research credits. Both degrees are available through on-campus or online delivery. For the Agricultural Leadership specialization, students pursuing either Master's degree can incorporate this focus by completing two out of four offered AGLS courses. No extra credits are needed, as these two AGLS courses (6 credits) count toward the 36-hour requirement for the chosen M.S. program. The Agricultural Leadership designation will appear on graduates' academic records.
