The Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology graduate program awards exclusively Ph.D. degrees. Our mission is to immerse students in the wonders of this scientific discipline while equipping them with essential skills for professional achievement. Participants gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge research technologies and state-of-the-art facilities. The curriculum features adaptable course options designed to deliver comprehensive scientific knowledge, enhance academic writing abilities, and educate on ethical research practices. Beyond classroom learning, first-year students must complete three laboratory rotations, followed by a teaching assignment typically during their second year.
Baccalaureate degree from a college or university of recognized standing.
Candidates come from many academic backgrounds; however, matriculating students will have commonly majored in one of the many areas of biology, chemistry or physics.
English Language Proficiency Requirement
IELTS Academic - 7.0; TOEFL - The Graduate School’s official minimum sub-scores for each element of the TOEFL iBT are: Speaking: 22, Reading: 20, Listening: 15, Writing: 20.
