The Cornell University Biomedical and Biological Sciences (BBS) Graduate Program brings together exceptional students for cutting-edge research across fundamental, clinical, and applied life sciences, working alongside distinguished faculty and research experts. Based in Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine on the Ithaca campus, the program benefits from top-tier research infrastructure, a dynamic university environment, and close connections with Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC. The BBS Program cultivates a supportive academic community focused on helping students excel in research, education, and career growth. Participants choose from five specialization areas: Immunology and Infectious Disease, Molecular and Cellular Medicine, Population Medicine and Epidemiology, Translational Medicine, or Zoology and Wildlife Conservation, each guided by faculty advisors.
