As a Classics student, you'll explore the rich traditions of ancient Greece and Rome through four specialized tracks (Classics, Greek, Latin, Classical Civilization), studying subjects ranging from ancient languages to philosophy, archaeology, and art history. You'll collaborate closely with expert faculty, frequently in intimate class settings, with ample chances for self-directed research and study abroad. The analytical rigor of a Classics education cultivates versatile skills prized across professions while providing deep insight into Western cultural heritage. Through a classics minor, you'll chart your own journey across the ancient Mediterranean by selecting five interconnected upper-level courses from four distinct pathways, while mastering either Greek or Latin: Classical literature Greek or Roman history Ancient thought Classical art and archaeology
Students completing their high school during the 2021-22 academic year or if they've graduated from high school but have earned fewer than 12 credits at a college or university are eligible for admission as first year students.
TOEFL - Score of 100 and above (Internet-based exam); 70 and above on the PTE Academic; IELTS - Score of 7.5.
