The standalone MA program in Sociocultural Anthropology caters to individuals seeking to expand their knowledge of anthropological studies and enhance their professional skills, without pursuing further degrees. Students can choose between full-time or part-time enrollment. The program welcomes applicants from diverse academic backgrounds including medicine, psychiatry, business, social work, arts, library science, theology, demography, law, international relations, criminology, linguistics, architecture, urban planning, and community development. Applicant must have the equivalent of the U.S. baccalaureate degree with a superior examination record and can understand rapid idiomatic English and can speak, write and read English with a high degree of facility are eligible for admission.
The Graduate School accepts applications from students who have earned or will earn 3-year bachelor's degrees in Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and any country which is a participant in the Bologna Process.
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 600 on paper-and-pencil test, 100 on the internet-based test and IELTS score of 7.5
